Athena Board app for iOS
Athena is a board management software, created by Sydney-based company Lockbox Technologies, which provides corporate teams and boards with advanced tools for meeting scheduling, secure document distribution and collaboration.
Traditionally, board packs are delivered as a printed collection of documents, and are usually bulky. Whenever a document needs to be updated, it has to be reprinted and replaced in the board pack, creating extra work and paper waste. Another disadvantage of printed packs is the fact the content is static.
With Athena, board packs are created and delivered digitally on an iPad or iPhone device and support multiple content types, including PDFs, videos, resolutions and votes.
App Features
With the app users are able to view binders, which are a collection of documents for a given board or committee. Athena offers a number of annotation options as well as the ability for note taking with stylus writing, voice dictation and freeform text entry. Users are also able to print individual documents when that option is enabled.
Athena Content Creation Admin Portal
As well as creating the Athena app for content consumption I was also tasked with designing a tool for administrators to create the actual content.
With the content creation tool admins have ability to create multiple boards and committees, manage users, create binders and templates, manage files and calendars.
